Registered herbal medicines

Within UK and Europe there are herbal products that have been registered as traditional herbal medicines. This means that they are produced to independent and certifiable quality standards and have approved health claims on the label. Herbal medicines are widely available in supermarkets, pharmacies and healthfood shops and are the most reassuring way to try out herbs for both the public and health professionals. For a full list of medicines available in the UK check out this site from the British Herbal Medicine Association.
